An Introduction to Conscious Connected Breathing

In this beginner's session I explain the basics of Conscious Connected Breathing. The setting is very intimate with a maximum space of 5 participants. I communicate the importance of creating a space of safety and love in order for the breather to be able to dive deep into their being. I explain the technique which consists of deep diaphragmatic breathing followed by quick and relaxed exhales, minimizing the pauses in between the inhales and the exhales. We discuss any physical sensations that might arise due to practicing such breathing technique. Mental & Emotional Benefits: Reduces stress and anxiety It activates the parasympathetic nervous system, helping the body shift out of “fight or flight” mode and into a calmer state. Increases emotional release: Deep, connected breathing can bring up suppressed emotions for processing and release, often leading to catharsis or emotional breakthroughs. Enhances mental clarity and focus: More oxygen to the brain = sharper thinking, better problem solving, and reduced brain fog. Supports trauma healing: By regulating the nervous system and accessing subconscious patterns, CCB can support somatic healing from past trauma. Physical Benefits: Improves oxygenation and circulation Better oxygen flow boosts overall energy and supports cellular health. Detoxifies the body: Around 70% of toxins are released via the breath, so conscious breathwork supports natural detox processes. Balances the nervous system: Regular practice can help reduce chronic stress, improve sleep, and regulate bodily functions like digestion. Strengthens the respiratory system: Trains deeper, more efficient breathing patterns, which can help with conditions like shallow breathing habits. We ask all of our participants to be mindful of the other participants in the room.
